Just dropped it off at the Honda dealer and he service tech had a moment of silence with me after explaining how today went.
$484 in the hole already for a full clutch and transmission tear down. I’ll get the news tomorrow of what is needed (by their standards) and the price.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I would love to send to bill to the other place...but that’s gonna get me absolutely no where seeing as how the owner was acting while I had it towed

I would consult with the service manager of the dealership, maybe ask if the general manager of the dealership can help you out in any way. You obviously want the best service, and if the dealership stands right by you (given the situation, maybe they will). Never hurts to ask if the dealership’s lawyer could send a strongly worded letter on your behalf regarding the cost of the damaged parts.
Worst you can do is ask, and worst they can say is no, but if you never ask.....

Yeah, I wouldn’t expect them to cut you a break anywhere, though it certainly would be nice. I would certainly want to know if they could assist in doing what’s right regarding the shop that broke the car.
Did you buy the car from this dealership? Sometimes at least hinting that your experiences could lead to being a repeat customer is enough to get a more favorable result.
